SteelAxis in Svalbard is seeking an Architecture Manager to oversee design and construction from concept to completion. You will lead teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

This full‑time role offers accommodation and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and at least five years of managerial experience, with strong leadership and communication skills for delivering complex Arctic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Architectural Manager.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes and construction methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define goals.
• Develop and present proposals with cost estimates and timelines.
• Lead project teams of architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Oversee progress to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify construction against plans.
• Monitor budget and adjust to stay within financial goals.
• Resolve issues or conflicts during construction.
• Provide updates to clients on progress and scope changes.
