SteelAxis in Svalbard is seeking an Architecture Manager to oversee design and construction from concept to completion. You will lead teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

This full‑time role offers accommodation and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and at least five years of managerial experience, with strong leadership and communication skills for delivering complex Arctic projects.

Architecture Manager

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Architecture Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As an Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of architectural projects, from initial design to final construction. Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements
• Develop and present project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines
• Manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Oversee project progress, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction is following design plans and specifications
• Monitor project budget and make necessary adjustments to stay within financial goals
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or changes in scope

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Architectural Manager
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
