Vend is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build scalable marketing data infrastructure and data models. You will define engineering standards for User Engagement and Marketing, and shape data pipelines across Nordic offices with 3 days remote work.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, AI-driven analytics exploration, and architecture leadership in a startup-like environment within a larger organization.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role in a high-growth tech/e-commerce setting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, and cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience with orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran) to manage data pipelines.
• Marketing data fluency including attribution models (AppsFlyer).
• Ability to translate business goals into scalable data engineering solutions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and collaboration across Nordic markets.

Responsibilities

• Design automated, scalable data pipelines for ingestion and preprocessing.
• Develop high-utility data products to support triggered communications and lifecycle events.
• Contribute to ARIA—Analytical Reasoning & Insight Assistant—data schemas for AI-ready analytics.
• Partner with Marketing Managers and Data Scientists to align data models with business needs.
