Job summary

Humain Dev Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Rogaland, Norway. You will own and optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability across systems.

You will design data models, ETL pipelines, and warehouses, manage high-volume data, and collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to ensure seamless data flow and security through IAM controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex database structures and MySQL.
• Strong background in Big Data technologies and large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services, Redis, and IAM permissions.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and ensure accuracy of data from multiple sources.
• Optimize and restructure databases to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Improve query performance with a focus on mission-critical queries.
• Implement and manage DB sharding strategies for scalability.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines.
• Work with high-volume data environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data flow.
• Ensure data security and compliance using IAM roles and permissions.
