Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group in Oslo, Norway is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale its Developer Experience and AI engineering capabilities. You will join a newly established function shaping standards, tooling and workflows used by engineers and AI agents.

You will influence engineering practices across teams, build reusable components, and integrate tooling with source control and collaboration platforms, enabling faster, safer software delivery at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior, staff or principal software engineer.
• Strong knowledge of build systems, test automation and modern development environments.
• Hands-on experience scaling developer tooling, internal platforms or productivity initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development and agentic workflows.
• Proven track record driving technical change and influencing standards across teams.
• Excellent written communication for clear technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering standards across development teams, including build processes, testing, code quality and setup.
• Create automated assessment frameworks to measure repository health and developer productivity.
• Work directly within codebases to improve practices and establish reusable reference implementations.
• Design standards making repositories easier for engineers and AI agents to understand and operate within.
• Integrate developer tooling with source control, issue tracking and collaboration platforms.
• Explore MCP integrations and other productivity technologies.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and DevOps to ensure smooth development-to-ops flow.
• Contribute to engineering strategy and tooling decisions.
• Champion AI adoption to improve enterprise development workflows.
