Job summary

Akkodis Norway is seeking a Sen Electrical Engineer with cybersecurity experience for Stavanger. The role focuses on designing and verifying electrical installations, heat trace requirements and producing engineering work packages offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field, 5+ years of offshore experience, and knowledge of NORSOK/ATEX/PTIL/IEC standards including IEC 61850 protocols and IEC 62443 cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Good knowledge of NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC standards and IEC 62443 cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations.
• Define and design heat trace requirements in accordance with P&IDs.
• Prepare, check and approve MTO.

Electrical - Senior Engineer Stavanger

A third-party background check will be conducted prior to commencement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations.


• Define and design heat trace requirement in accordance with P&IDs


• Prepare, check and approve MTO.


• Prepare check and approve technical requisitions.


• Follow up vendors.


• Insert data into engineering registry.


• Produce engineering work packages.


• Interface with other disciplines

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree within relevant area

Required Work Experience( Minimum 5years ):

• Experience from electrical engineering in modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf


• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standard such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.


• Tchnical requirements and tools/software from offshore operators


• IEC 61850 and latest protocols/interfaces (GOOSE, MMS, PTP,SV) ( preferred )


• Suppliers’ technical solutions for High and Low Voltage systems and philosophies for system design


• Cyber security in electrical systems(IEC 62443 as IACS/OT)

Required Qualifications:

• Able to work independently as well as a part of a team.

Language

• Communicate well in English both written and oral (Norwegian is preferable, but not required)

Required Certificates:

• Valid offshore certificate including helicopter underwater escape training (HUET)


• Medical Certificate


• Basic EX course (min 6-8 hrs)


• FSE (Electrical Safety Regulations) for high and low voltage, including practical first aid

• Stavanger, we will prioritized local candidates
