Job summary

Apollo Research is hiring Security Engineers to join the Infra & Security Team in London or San Francisco, building security controls, IAM, cloud and endpoint security, and incident response. The role focuses on making the secure path the default, automating defenses, and shaping the security roadmap.

You’ll work hands-on, read code, assess vendors, and lead end-to-end security projects in a fast-paced startup environment with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security roles with hands-on work.
• Engineering mindset with automation focus.
• Experience with application/cloud security.
• Ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core security controls (IAM, cloud, endpoints, incident response).
• Make secure paths the default and automate security processes.
• Advise across Apollo and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Evaluate vendors and perform build-vs-buy decisions.
• Lead security projects end to end.
• Help shape the security roadmap and priorities.
