Job summary

MDE Group in Oslo seeks a Senior Secondary Engineer to lead Control & Protection engineering for HV substations across Europe. You will design, document, test and commission C&P systems, coordinating with customers, suppliers and project teams.

You will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in substation C&P, know power systems and tools like EPLAN, E3, AutoCAD, and PCM600. Fluent English or Norwegian and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in substation Control & Protection engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, transmission systems, and substation design.
• Experience with electrical design tools such as EPLAN, E3, or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SCADA, control systems, IEDs (PCM600 or similar) is an advantage.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and protection systems is highly desirable.

You will be responsible for Control & Protection (C&P) engineering throughout the project lifecycle, from design and documentation to testing and commissioning, while collaborating with customers, suppliers, and project teams across Europe.
