Job description
Overview

At Autronica, you’re joining a leading innovator, manufacturer, and supplier of fire and gas safety systems worldwide. Our solutions protect lives and assets on land, at sea, and in demanding industries like petrochemical, oil, and gas. Headquartered in Trondheim, Norway's technology hotspot, we combine global presence with local expertise. Our greatest strength is our people: their expertise, creativity, and passion. Join us and make a difference.

About The Role

Do you want to be part of our Trondheim-based R&D team working toward a safer future? At Autronica, our mission is to eliminate loss of life, injuries, and damage caused by fire and gas. We are expanding and creating a brand-new cross functional team—giving you the opportunity to be part of something fresh, with a clear purpose from day one.

We are looking for a motivated and structured Scrum Master to guide one or more Scrum or Kanban teams, helping them work efficiently and collaboratively within an agile framework. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, and leaders to maintain clarity, momentum, and alignment — even under pressure in safety-critical domains.

Your Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Promote agile values, principles, and practices across teams.
  • Follow up that internal development processes and quality expectations are consistently applied.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Track and analyze agile metrics to drive team improvement.
  • Support the team throughout the product lifecycle, from specification and design to implementation and testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders in an international and cross-functional setup.
  • Be available to the team in digital channels when not physically present.
  • Mentor team members in agile collaboration and delivery practices.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry standards and practices for software in safety-critical environments.
Qualifications We Are Looking For

You help teams adopt sustainable agile ways of working while ensuring alignment with processes and safety expectations. A clear communicator and strong coach, you enable collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance in safety-critical environments. You are reliable, organized, self-driven, and calm under pressure, taking pride in supporting others and contributing to the safety and usability of our systems.

Must-have Qualifications
  • Solid experience facilitating agile development teams in a technical environment.
  • Good understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and iterative delivery.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other agile collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Git and general development workflows.
  • Understanding of software development processes and life cycles.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM) preferred, but relevant hands-on experience with agile frameworks may be considered instead.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken (English is our company language).
Nice to have
  • Background in software development.
What We Offer
  • Meaningful work in a mission-driven company.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • A supportive and inclusive work culture.
  • 6th week of paid vacation.
  • Free on-site car parking.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Pension and insurance schemes.
  • Opportunities for growth through courses, events, and mentoring.
Our commitment to you

In our organization you can have an impact from day one. With us, each person has an important role, with many opportunities to define their own path. You will have skilled colleagues to spar with on challenging and rewarding projects. If you are motivated and we find you to be "a good match", we are prepared to build you up despite having not long work experience.

We consider diversity and inclusion to be decisive factors for our success. Therefore, we encourage candidates with different backgrounds, genders, and ages to apply.
