Job description

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the intersection of people and quality experiences? We're seeking a Sales Coordinator in Norway to join our growing team and help steer our international bookings towards new horizons. If you love sales, have a high degree of adaptation to systems and see yourself as a great team player, we have the role for you!

About the position

Our Sales Operation team is responsible for managing group reservations on our passenger ships. We cater to both business and private groups from the Nordic countries and around the world, who book directly or through travel agents. You'll be based in our Oslo office, working within a Scandinavian team of specialists with primary focus on growing our MICE/Business sales customer on our Copenhagen-Oslo route.

Your colleagues will be located both in Oslo and in our Copenhagen office, where your direct manager is located. The role will work closely with stakeholders across different disciplines, including revenue, pricing and onboard sales. There may be 1-2 trips to Copenhagen a year.

Your key responsibilities

As our Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities are many and you will touch upon our commercial processes such as product set up, price, customer requests, booking adjustments, and catering arrangements.

Some key tasks in the role are:

  • Creating offers and making group reservations and enquiries for our MICE and party group customers with primary route focus on Oslo-Copenhagen.
  • Ensuring all offers are logged and managed and CRM is used according to unified standards and processes.
  • Efficiently handling of back-office tasks including booking adjustments, catering arrangements with the vessels, manifest entries, payments and finalising of bookings.
  • Ad hoc tasks for a Scandinavian team’s perspective.
  • Responsible for the teams incoming calls as a first line support
  • Support and assist the Key Account Managers to ensure good information sharing and transparency, with both ad hoc cases as well as dedicated tasks.
What's in your suitcase?

We're looking for someone who have the gift of building strong relationships with our customers and internally. You need to have attention for details, with a proactive approach in an agile working environment. While your educational background is less important, experience within sales, coordinator and from the travel industry (e.g., Tour Operator, Hotel, or Tourist industry) is beneficial.

We expect you to have:

  • A structured mindset and attention to details.
  • The ability to multi-task and priorities requests.
  • Strong language skills: Fluency in English and Norwegian is required, understanding of other Scandinavian languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems like HubSpot, Microsoft 365 etc.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to contribute to the team.
Why choose us?

Join us and you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of an iconic route between Copenhagen and Oslo. As a key player in this exciting journey, you'll enjoy:

  • A role in a growing team with immense potential
  • The chance to influence our culture and work processes
  • A varied workday with challenges and development opportunities
  • Attractive benefits, including pension, canteen, and fitness arrangements
  • Opportunities to experience our ships through employee travel
  • A dynamic workplace with engaged colleagues and a sea view from the office
