Position: Sales Manager

Manage and is responsible for the company overall sales effort. Ensures consistent, profitable revenue through positive planning, effective sales strategies, and the deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives and develops action plans to ensure sustainable revenue growth and profitability.

Essential Functions:

  1. Establishes and manages an effective compensation program and coaches, appraises, and trains sales personnel.
  2. Manages daily sales personnel activities and develops sales and sales support staff.
  3. Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
  4. Provides quarterly results assessments of the sales staff's progress.
  5. Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth across all client product offerings.
  6. Coordinates company resources to ensure efficient, sustainable growth and profitability.
  7. Assists sales personnel in establishing consistent contact and relationship development with industry engineering personnel, design staff, decision makers, and influencers.
  8. Analyzes short- and long-term effects on sales strategies and operating profit, and modifies accordingly.
  9. Develops the sales team by establishing training and development programs in areas such as new account sales, profitability, presentation strategies, and contract negotiation.
  10. Supports the sales activities of project managers including sales strategy, support, joint calls, presentations, and technical support.
  11. Collaborates with the company President to establish and control budgets for sales, marketing, and trade shows.
  12. Reviews expenses and controls selling costs.
  13. Holds annual sales planning and strategy conferences.
  14. Conducts regular sales meetings with Business Development Managers and the sales and marketing teams.
  15. Supervises and maintains the company's Market Intelligence Database and Sales Reporting functions.
  16. Works with department managers to develop strategic business plans.
  17. Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
  18. Ensures safety standards are upheld and promotes a safe work environment.

Additional Functions:

  • Demonstrates dynamic sales and business development skills, with experience in TRS, WC/WI, and Machine Shop businesses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales, business development, and/or marketing experience.
  • Current sales knowledge of the midstream market space.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Excellent knowledge of the market and client relationship management.
  • Skills in People Management, Effective Communication, Personal Accountability, and Flawless Execution.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to perform under stress, in emergency situations, and adverse weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, carry, push/pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate professionally.
