The company is based on a unique patented technology from NTNU, enabling the use of silicon carbide in thermal spraying. It has several commercialized applications and ongoing qualification processes for international customers, with many approaching commercialization in markets such as glass production, aerospace/aviation, and metallurgy.

The company's production and office facilities are located in Herøya. Significant travel activity should be expected, so flexibility in residence is preferred.
