Job summary

Måne Energi AS is seeking a Safety and Automation Systems Engineer to support automation, safety, and control system solutions for energy, industrial, and offshore projects. You will contribute across the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning and improvements.

The role requires technical competence, problem-solving, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients, with English communication essential and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation or related engineering.
• Practical experience with industrial automation and control systems.
• Strong documentation and project execution process understanding.
• Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAS engineering deliverables per project requirements.
• Prepare IO Lists, FPDS, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD blocks and calculations.
• Participate in system design and verification across process, utility, electrical.
• Lead safety reviews such as HAZID/HAZOP.
• Coordinate interfaces between automation, electrical, process, instrumentation and telecom.
• Support FAT, integrated FAT, and test activities with vendors.
• Assist testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and ensure safety and cyber security.
• Provide technical support through EPCM phases.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and maintainability.
