Job summary

Sensio in Oslo is seeking an AI Lead to define technical direction and build our in-house AI team. You will lead AI transformation across data, model development, MLOps, validation and deployment for embedded hardware and server-based services.

You will align AI work with product roadmaps, guide architecture decisions, scale AI across edge devices, ensure privacy and safety, and mentor a team of AI specialists across product teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ML, CV or embedded AI in real-world environments.
• Advanced academic training in ML/CS/robotics or related field at master’s or PhD level, or equivalent.
• Experience across data preparation, model development, validation, deployment, MLOps and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Sensio’s AI transformation across data, models and deployment.
• Set technical direction for AI across data, ML, MLOps and performance tracking.
• Drive embedded AI initiatives for resource-constrained edge devices.
• Collaborate with data, annotation, ML, embedded, product and engineering teams to build reliable AI workflows.
• Improve privacy, explainability, and scalability of AI systems.
• Define internal AI principles, standards, and ways of working.
