Kongeparken, the leading theme park in Western Norway, seeks a hands-on Mechanic for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting rides and park installations. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe operation throughout the season.

Based on-site in Ålgård/Figgjo, you will collaborate with operations to minimize downtime, decorate for seasons, and assist with event setup. A background in mechanical trades and safety-minded approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills and experience in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of machinery.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, mechanical standards, and safe work practices with documentation experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems and ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting rides and installations.
• Decorate the park for seasonal events and support setup of attractions.
• Collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime and respond quickly to technical issues during park hours.
• Document all work in accordance with safety standards and internal procedures.
