Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor in Trondheim, Norway, seeks two Application Engineers to join our Technical Support team. You will assist customers worldwide, review designs, perform RF tests, and help achieve regulatory compliance while optimizing RF performance.

You will work hands-on with prototypes, collaborating with Nordic's engineering teams to resolve complex issues and drive customer success through a positive, can-do approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics or related field.
• Good understanding of electronic circuits and hardware design.
• Experience in RF engineering, antenna theory is desirable.
• Hands-on electronics development, testing, or lab work.
• Experience in RF hardware design, antenna tuning, measurements.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers developing wireless products.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and antenna designs for performance gains.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, RF measurements, and tuning on prototypes.
• Help customers optimize RF performance and power consumption.
• Guide customers on regulatory requirements and certification prep.
• Take ownership of customer challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Collaborate with Nordic R&D and engineering teams to resolve issues.
