Job summary

Basta in Oslo is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to help lead the floor during service and support the management team. You will ensure guests and colleagues have a great experience and stay organized, confident, and focused even during the busiest services.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have experience in busy hospitality, can supervise shifts, and communicate clearly under pressure while leading with energy and respect.

Qualifications

• Has experience working in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Has supervised shifts before or is ready to take the next step.
• Communicates clearly and remains calm under pressure.
• Is confident making decisions and solving problems during service.
• Supports colleagues and contributes to an inclusive team.
• Takes responsibility and leads with energy, trust and respect.
• Is flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the smooth running of daily restaurant service.
• Leading by example and helping the team deliver warm, energetic hospitality.
• Coordinating the floor and adjusting priorities during busy services.
• Coaching team members and providing clear, constructive feedback.
• Handling guest questions and resolving concerns professionally.
• Supporting opening, closing, cash-handling and daily restaurant routines.
• Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
