The position as researcher is a temporary two-year position, with an ultimate goal to qualify for senior academic positions.
The researcher will work in an exciting inter-disciplinary Horizon Europe project. The project aims to research socio-economic policies and paradigms (e.g., circular economy) that could complement or present alternatives to the current policy landscape and economic paradigm in Europe. One of the key aims of the project is to understand the impact of potential policy changes on the economy, and on social and environmental sustainability, as well as public acceptance of the policy changes that would be required. The postdoc’s work will focus in large part on policy acceptance and on perceived social, environmental, and economic policy impacts, drawing on perspectives from environmental and social psychology, behavioral economics and other social sciences and using empirical methods such as experiments and online surveys (with a plan to collect data from 10,000+ participants).
Your immediate leader will be the Head of the Department of Psychology.
