Job summary

Nordtours is seeking a Travel Development & Operations Specialist to grow Norway itineraries through strong partnerships and exemplary customer service. This full-time, one-year contract is primarily remote within Norway, with occasional travel and on-site coordination in Bergen.

Start date: 1 December 2026. You will develop Norway itineraries, build international partnerships, handle inquiries, quotations and pricing, and coordinate bookings.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in travel planning, tour operations, travel sales or a similar field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and good knowledge of Norway as a travel destination.
• Based in Norway with ability to travel occasionally for meetings and on-site coordination.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to finding customers and developing partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop ready-made and tailor-made Norway itineraries, combining accommodation, transport, meals and activities.
• Build partnerships with international travel agencies and negotiate rates and terms with providers.
• Handle enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up leads to bookings.
• Calculate tour prices and margins, coordinate reservations, and organise invoices.
• Support guests before, during and after trips, coordinating suppliers and changes.
• Identify improvements to website, marketing activities and budget allocation.
