Job summary

IKM Stavanger seeks an experienced professional to coordinate remote commissioning of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) across multiple projects. You will establish best practices, define interfaces with suppliers and operations, and ensure readiness of onshore control rooms for remote execution.

You will plan, schedule, and allocate resources, define network and cybersecurity requirements with IT/OT specialists, and capture lessons learned to mature the methodology.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) commissioning.
• Proven knowledge of remote commissioning methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Experience coordinating activities between suppliers, contractors and operations.
• Understanding of IT/OT network, communication and cybersecurity requirements.
• Familiarity with digital tools and modern work methods in a project environment.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives forward.
• Language: English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate remote SAS commissioning across the project portfolio.
• Establish, document, and maintain best practices for remote commissioning in SAS.
• Identify and categorize SAS commissioning tasks suitable for remote execution (e.g., loop checks, function tests, software verification).
• Liaise with future operations teams on requirements and readiness of onshore control rooms.
• Ensure alignment with strategic initiatives within commissioning, including digital ways of working.
• Coordinate with suppliers, system integrators, and contractors on remote commissioning interfaces, protocols, and access arrangements.
• Support project teams with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for remote SAS activities.
• Define network, communication, and cybersecurity requirements for remote commissioning in cooperation with IT/OT specialists.
• Capture and share lessons learned from remote commissioning execution to mature the methodology.
