Job summary

Jefferson Wells in Stavanger, Norway, seeks an experienced SAS coordinator to oversee remote commissioning across the project portfolio. The role focuses on establishing best practices, defining scope suitable for remote work, and ensuring consistent execution of SAS tasks on assets.

You will collaborate with IT/OT, suppliers, and operations, report KPIs, and drive digital ways of working within the Alliance. Strong knowledge of safety automation, networks, and cyber security is required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) is required.
• Experience with remote commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of network, communication and cyber security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all remote SAS commissioning activities across the portfolio and ensure consistent execution across assets.
• Establish, document and maintain best practice for remote SAS commissioning, including governing documents and work instructions.
• Identify and categorize SAS commissioning scope suitable for remote execution (loop checks, function tests, software verification, FAT/iFAT).
• Liaise with Future Operations on onshore control rooms readiness for remote commissioning.
• Align the Alliance with strategic commissioning initiatives, including digital ways of working.
• Coordinate with SAS suppliers, system integrators, operations and contractors on remote interfaces and access arrangements.
• Support project commissioning with planning, scheduling and resource allocation for remote SAS activities.
• Define network, communication and cyber security requirements with IT/OT and relevant disciplines.
• Capture lessons learned and share across the portfolio to mature the methodology.
• Participate in technology assessments and qualification of new tools enabling remote SAS commissioning.
• Report status and KPIs on remote SAS commissioning to Project Completion Manager.
• Raise improvement proposals and issues related to remote commissioning.
