Job summary

Energy As seeks a Commissioning Engineer – Controls for Stavanger, with relocation to Stord as the project advances. The role requires guiding commissioning activities, coordinating the SAS team, and ensuring smooth handover to operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, is proactive, and collaborates well with contractors, HSSEQ-minded, and familiar with PIMS CMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Active, self-driven, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively with contractors.
• Team player with HSSEQ experience.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates for the commissioning scope.
• Provide SAS input and advice for overall completion strategy and planning.
• Manage contractors and resources providing services and materials for SAS System Commissioning.
• Witness tests, develop and implement commissioning procedures, and execute the commissioning scope.
• Ensure smooth project-to-operations handover and lead the commissioning test team on site.
• Participate in pre-startup and performance test reviews as needed.
• Establish completion and handover strategy early to support efficient commissioning.
