Testronic Translation Department is seeking an English into Norwegian Video Game Language Expert who will translate game content, updates, and marketing texts, and proofread colleagues' work to ensure top quality. The role favors a native Norwegian with fluent English and experience in subtitle translation and LQA.

Freelance registration is recommended, with remote work options available and Phrase CAT tool support.

Qualifications

• Native Norwegian speaker with strong linguistic and cultural nuance.
• Fluent English and ability to communicate with PMs via email.
• Minimum 6 months translation experience in video games or similar creative fields.
• Freelance registration recommended.
• Experience in subtitle translation and LQA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Translate video game content, full titles and updates, sometimes with other translators.
• Translate marketing texts and promo materials related to games.
• Proofread other translators' work to ensure high quality.
