Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Content Manager based in Norway for a partner company. This hands-on leadership role owns content strategy, editorial planning, production, optimization, and publication end-to-end across two brands. You will manage writers, editors, SEO, CMS, and analytics to drive organic visibility and conversions.

You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations, ensure EEAT-compliant content, and guide a team while reporting on performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading website content and improving organic search performance.
• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading, natural American English.
• Strong experience managing editorial briefs, calendars, deadlines, and workflows.
• Knowledge of keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, and internal linking.
• Experience using analytics/SEO tools to diagnose issues and prioritize actions.
• Experience with CMS and coordinating website content publication.
• Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work hands-on in researching, writing, editing, and publishing.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and speed.
• Experience with multilingual sites, international audiences, or large launches is an asset.
• Experience in translation/localization or sectors requiring factual review is an asset.
• Experience with conversion optimization and collaboration with sales is an asset.
• Availability for a dedicated full-time position and long-term commitment.
• Consistent working-hour overlap with US Eastern Time is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the content strategy and editorial calendar across two websites.
• Manage writers/editors by briefs, deadlines, feedback, and rewrites when needed.
• Oversee the full content lifecycle from research to publication and optimization.
• Manage website content via CMS with metadata, structure, and accessibility.
• Lead SEO strategy: keyword research, audits, on-page optimization, linking, monitoring.
• Coordinate technical SEO with developers: crawls, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals.
• Manage ethical link-building and digital PR to earn authoritative coverage.
• Apply EEAT: accurate, evidence-based, trustworthy content.
• Use AI tools responsibly with human oversight for content workflows.
• Improve conversions via stronger service explanations and paths.
• Collaborate with sales/ops to align content with customer questions.
• Establish clear reporting with GSC/GA4 and SEO platforms.
• Create a dependable content operation with workflows and standards.
• Conduct a 90-day audit, set baselines, and roadmap for growth.
