Job summary

First Choice Nurses is seeking PCU RNs to provide high-quality patient care on flexible shifts. Choose 7a–7p or 7p–7a, with per diem pay and the option to work as few as one shift per month.

The position offers daily and weekly pay options and straightforward mobile scheduling. Active Virginia RN license and 2+ years PCU experience within the last 4 years are required, along with BLS, ACLS, and acceptance of vaccination or exemption.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
