Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. You can choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Opportunities include 5:00 AM-11:30 PM coverage and weekly pay, with daily pay options and supportive staffing coordinators. Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergencies and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
