Job description

As a Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centred, holistic support to individuals with mental health needs through our 1-2-1 Floating Support service. You will manage a caseload of clients, working alongside them to identify their strengths, goals and aspirations, promote health and wellbeing, maintain independence and support successful move-on from Supported Accommodation. You will build trusting relationships, reduce social isolation, develop social networks and connect clients with local community resources and services, while promoting a strengths-based approach that recognises clients as experts by experience.

What you’ll do
  • Manage a caseload of residents, providing consistent, person-centred and recovery-focused support tailored to their individual goals, strengths, and needs.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group interventions that promote mental health and wellbeing, independence, resilience, and successful transition from supported accommodation.
  • Provide information, advice and signposting, helping residents access appropriate services, build support networks, and engage with community activities and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with supported accommodation teams, health services, and local community organisations to ensure coordinated support and positive outcomes for residents.
