We are looking for a polished, organised and patient-focused Receptionist to join a private clinic based on Harley Street. As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a professional, welcoming and reassuring experience from the moment they contact or arrive at the clinic. This is a busy and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced private healthcare or high-end customer service environment. You will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointments, supporting up to seven clinical diaries, handling payments and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of reception.
You will provide an exceptional front-of-house and administrative service to our patients and clinical team.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and able to remain calm and professional when managing a busy workload. You will ideally have at least one year's experience within a private medical practice. However, we would also be interested in hearing from candidates with at least one year's experience in a high-end customer service or hospitality environment where delivering an exceptional customer experience has been central to the role. The successful candidate will understand that reception is about much more than answering phones and booking appointments. You will be an important part of the patient experience, ensuring every patient receives a professional, efficient and personalised service. You will be comfortable dealing with a variety of enquiries and situations, able to think on your feet and confident in managing challenges as they arise. You will also be able to communicate calmly and compassionately with patients and colleagues, even during busy or high-pressure periods.
