Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited seeks an experienced Aseptic Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6) to join the team in North Wales. The role focuses on aseptic preparation, quality assurance, and safe supply of medicines within a specialist aseptic service environment.

The successful candidate will work with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, adhering to GMP, QA practices, and regulatory standards to maintain patient safety and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience in an aseptic services environment.
  • Sound understanding of GMP principles.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and aseptic preparation standards.
  • Work accurately in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills; able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and supply of aseptically prepared medicines in line with procedures.
  • Work within GMP and quality assurance requirements.
  • Maintain aseptic services documentation and records.
  • Support environmental monitoring, validation and quality control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with medicines legislation and governance.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety and professionalism.
