Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor is seeking a Radio Characterization Lead to own RF performance characterization for short-range radio IPs. You will shape the measurement strategy across silicon bring-up, characterization, and production, serving as the authoritative interface to production test engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on RF measurement and characterization of integrated radios or RF products.
• Strong grasp of RF transceiver parameters and how to measure them.
• Experience automating measurements and data processing, using Python or MATLAB.
• Understanding of measurement uncertainty and calibration across setups.
• Ability to lead technical work across teams and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, methodology, and execution plan for radio performance characterization.
• Define scope and resource needs for silicon bring-up, derivatives and ramps.
• Align equipment and test-setup strategy and drive investment decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement of characterization methodology and data analysis.
• Turn measurement data into actionable decisions for design and production teams.
• Support regulatory testing and ensure adherence to Bluetooth and RF standards.
• Coach teams on best practices and ensure sustainable characterization processes.
