Job summary

Bremanger Quarry, part of the Bontrup Group, invites an experienced Technical Foreman to lead our maintenance team at one of Norway’s most unique industrial operations. This hands-on leadership role combines practical maintenance work with team coordination, safety focus, and continuous improvement.

You will work with the Technical Engineer and Manager to plan tasks, optimize reliability, and ensure high safety and quality standards across the site while contributing to sustainable production

Qualifications

• Hands-on leader with technical expertise and safety mindset.
• Experience in industrial maintenance within quarrying, mining, manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate teams in a practical setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities of the maintenance team.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance tasks and project work.
• Monitor progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations across the site.
• Identify and communicate requirements for materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure timely availability.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
