Merand Recruitment in Strand, Rogaland, Norway seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to drive daily operations and safety. You will prepare the production area, oversee material flow, and ensure targets and quality standards are met.

You will supervise staff, enforce safety procedures, manage chemical handling and PPE, and coordinate maintenance. Overtime and shift work may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Supervisory or team-leader experience is advantageous.
• Familiar with machinery, pumps, piping, and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the production area, equipment and raw materials before production begins.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure targets and quality standards are met.
• Monitor equipment and processes to maintain safe, efficient operation.
• Identify and address production issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Allocate tasks, supervise performance, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain records, report absenteeism or disciplinary matters.
• Assist with maintenance, incidents, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemical materials and PPE usage.
• Support safety inspections and risk assessments.
