Quality & Process Manager for Gyproc, Fredrikstad

The Role
At Gyproc’s factory in Fredrikstad –a fully electric Gypsum Board factory – innovation, investment, and sustainability go hand in hand.
As Quality & Process Manager you will lead Gyprocs Quality & Process department with overall responsibility for product quality and process optimization. You will play a central role in ensuring that production meets internal performance goals as well as external customer expectations.
Your responsibility will include driving quality improvement projects, handling deviations, leading and supporting improvement initiatives, and ensuring that procedures are in place to deliver high and consistent quality at optimal cost. You will also take ownership of optimizing the production process to secure efficient, reliable operations and excellent product results.
This is a highly collaborative position where you will work closely with the Maintenance, Production, HSE, and Logistics Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
The position is based at Gyproc’s facility in Øra, Fredrikstad, and is part of the site’s management team. You report directly to the Site Manager.
Is this you?
To be successful in this position you have previous experience from a similar position with personnel management responsibility within the process industry. You have a good understanding of production processes and experience in leading and developing operational operations. You have a strong understanding of product specifications and industry standards. A university degree is desirable; however, other relevant education combined with extensive and broad experience may also be considered sufficient.
You have practical experience from working with improvement work within World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and/or Lean along with good knowledge of the tools and processes involved. The role requires that you are confident in using relevant IT and business systems, and that you communicate professionally in both Norwegian or Swedish and English.
