NOV is seeking a Quality Assurance leader in Norway to own the Quality Management System, maintain ISO 9001 certification and partner with operations and engineering to drive continuous improvement across six Norwegian locations.

You will lead a team of five Quality Engineers, coordinate internal audits, manage non-conformances and monitor KPIs to ensure product and process quality across manufacturing, repair and service activities.

Qualifications

• Proven QA experience in manufacturing or similar quality environment.
• Iso 9001 knowledge and audit experience.
• Experience leading a team of quality professionals.
• Ability to collaborate with operations and engineering.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of an established Quality Management System, maintain ISO 9001 certification and work closely with operational and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement across the business.

This role sits within Quality Assurance, supporting manufacturing, equipment repair and service operations across NOV locations in Norway. You will lead a team of five Quality Engineers and work closely with operations, engineering and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Lead, support and develop a team of five Quality Engineers.
• Support continued compliance with ISO 9001 and maintain readiness for certification activities.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in internal audits.
• Manage non-conformances and corrective actions, including root-cause analysis, implementation and follow-up.
• Monitor quality performance and provide relevant KPIs, statistics and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Lead management reviews and communicate QMS performance to management.
• Work closely with operations, engineering and other functions to address quality issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the effective management of customer complaints, quality risks and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Support consistent application of quality systems across manufacturing, equipment repair and service operations at the six Norwegian locations.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, manufacturing or a comparable quality environment.
• Practical working knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001.
• Experience conducting quality audits and working with non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Previous experience leading people and managing a team.
• Ability to work effectively with operations, engineering and other stakeholders on quality-related matters.
• Fluent Norwegian and conversational English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or another relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, equipment repair, service or a comparable industrial environment.
• Experience with quality performance reporting, KPIs and continuous improvement activities.
