Job summary

A leading drilling contractor is seeking a Project Engineer – Mechanical to oversee offshore mechanical systems and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, possess over 5 years of experience, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with offshore mechanical systems and equipment preferably from MODU as TSL.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulics, piping, pressure vessels, and offshore mechanical standards.
  • Experience in project management and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee SPS activities involving mechanical equipment, machinery, and structural systems.
  • Follow up on inspections, maintenance, and upgrades in accordance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure project compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee SPS activities involving mechanical equipment, machinery, and structural systems.
  • Follow up on inspections, maintenance, and upgrades in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and classification societies to ensure project execution and compliance.
  • Identify mechanical risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain project documentation, technical reports, and records of mechanical systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for mechanical reliability and safety.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
