Elopak ASA invites applications for a Project Engineer - Board Development at our corporate office in Spikkestad, Norway. You will contribute to developing paperboard solutions for liquid packaging boards, focusing on performance, recyclability, and quality across a global network.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, plan testing, document methodologies, and provide technical support to production plants and market units. Travel 40-60 days annually.

Formación

• M.Sc., M.Eng., or M.Tech. in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Relevant industrial experience within materials, packaging, or process development; recent graduates welcome.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Legal authorization to work in Norway.
• Ability to travel 40-60 days per year, mainly within Europe.

Responsabilidades

• Board Development & Innovation: Develop and improve paperboard materials used in cartons, focusing on performance, quality, and recyclability.
• Testing & Validation: Plan, execute, and evaluate testing internally and externally throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Technical Problem Solving: Identify, analyse, and resolve technical challenges during development, testing, and implementation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers globally to introduce and qualify new board grades and material solutions.
• Method Development & Documentation: Develop testing methodologies and prepare clear, accurate technical reports.
• Technical Support & Knowledge Building: Provide technical support to production plants and market units, expanding knowledge of emerging materials and technologies.
