Elopak is seeking a Project Engineer - Board Development at our Spikkestad corporate office to advance paperboard solutions for liquid packaging. You will join a dedicated team to drive board development from concept to implementation, collaborating with suppliers and customers across Europe.

Qualified candidates hold an MSc/MEng/MTech in materials or related field, possess strong analytical and communication skills in English, and are prepared for about 40–60 days of travel annually.

Competenze

• M.Sc., M.Eng., or M.Tech. in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Experience in materials, packaging, process development, or similar field.
• Good English communication; Scandinavian language is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Board development and innovation: develop and improve paperboard materials for cartons focusing on performance, quality, and recyclability.
• Testing and validation: plan, execute, and evaluate testing internally and externally throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Technical problem solving: identify, analyse, and resolve technical challenges in development, testing, and implementation.
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to introduce and qualify new board grades and material solutions.
• Method development and documentation: contribute to testing methodologies and produce clear, well-documented reports.
• Technical support and knowledge building: provide support to production plants and market units, and stay updated on new materials and technologies.
