Job summary

Falkor is seeking a dedicated Project Controller to join our team focusing on all financial aspects of a portfolio of projects. You will monitor costs and revenues, support forecasting, and collaborate with project managers to optimize financial performance.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ years in project controlling, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel skills, with knowledge of MS Dynamics or Power BI considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial economy or related field.
• Ideally 1+ years of experience in project controlling.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics and/or Power BI is a plus.
• Structured, analytical, and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control actual cost and revenues against budget and current estimates.
• Challenge project managers and act as sparring partner.
• Invoicing and follow-up of accounts receivable and project cashflow management.
• Hedge foreign currencies.
• Monthly project and portfolio reporting.
• Advise on commercial awareness and provide input to project management.
• Develop and optimize reports, systems, and routines for project controlling.
• Contribute to budget and forecasting with project managers.

About the role

The team of project controlling is responsible for all financial aspects for a portfolio of projects, reporting to various project managers and business area responsible.

What you’ll do

• Monitor and control actual cost and revenues against budget and current estimates.

• Challenge and be sparring partner to project managers. Ensure early detection of unwanted cost development.

• Invoicing and follow-up of accounts receivable as well as Project cashflow management

• Ensure hedging of foreign currencies

• Monthly project and portfolio reporting

• Advise in commercial awareness in the project team and provide commercial input to the project management.

• Support in further develop and optimize the existing reports, systems and routines for project controlling, and overall contribution to best practices deployment.

• Contribute to budget and forecasting prognosis together with project managers.

Having a background and experience in the field would be incredibly valuable:

• Ideally one or more years of relevant experience from project controlling.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial economy or other related fields

• Experienced in Excel

• Knowledge within MS Dynamics and/or Power BI is a plus.

• A structured and analytical working style with respect for deadlines
