Job summary

NTNU's Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering seeks an Associate Professor or Professor in Supply Chain Management to join the Production Management Research Group in Trondheim. The successful candidate will conduct international level research, build industrial networks in Norway, secure external funding, and teach across bachelor, master and PhD levels while advancing the Logistics4.0 Lab.

Qualifications

• Must have a PhD in a relevant field and a strong research record in supply chain management.
• Track record of obtaining external research funding and international collaborations.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience in teaching and supervising master/PhD students and developing innovative teaching activities.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internationally recognized research in supply chain management and publish in top journals.
• Actively build and maintain industrial networks in Norway.
• Initiate and manage externally funded research projects and collaborations.
• Contribute to development of the research area and the Logistics4.0 Lab.
