As Product Lead, you will play a critical role in the development, design, and optimization of the SeaQ Integrated Bridge System. You will collaborate closely with different teams, including R&D, project, production, and end-customers to ensure that our product meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in driving product innovation forward.

So – what are your skills?

Duties and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and stakeholders to develop and refine product concepts that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Technical Responsible for hardware standardization, including matrix solution, both for Bridge and other locations.
  • Conduct testing and validation of the product to ensure they meet expected criteria.
  • Cooperate with the delivery team to optimize delivery processes, improve efficiency, and resolve any technical issues during that phase.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements and cost reductions, and implement changes as needed.
  • Provide technical support to project and sales teams, assist in troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues.
  • Responsible for delegated approval processes of the product with classification societies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of product designs, specifications, and test results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within electrical/electronics/automation/computer science. Newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Relevant work experience can compensate for formal education.
  • Certificate in electrical/electronics is an advantage.
  • Experience in product engineering, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Familiar with KVM technology, AutoCAD, Wago PLC, computer networking, general computer and electrical hardware.
  • Some knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and C++ is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of marine navigation and communication equipment is an advantage.
