Job summary

Abtrace is hiring a product designer to own the full design loop—from problem understanding to shipping features. You will collaborate with a PM, engineering lead, clinicians, and customer-facing teams to deliver end-to-end improvements using AI tools directly in frontend development.

You should be proficient with AI coding tools, have shipped UI improvements, and think holistically about workflows, including design systems and patterns. Hybrid work is available, with a Paddington office.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI coding tools to prototype and ship frontend features.
• Ability to translate complex clinical problems into usable product experiences.
• Experience in healthcare, B2B SaaS, operational tools, data-heavy products, or regulated environments is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship end-to-end product improvements across core workflows from early exploration to production.
• Use AI coding tools to prototype and ship directly in the frontend.
• Work closely with clinicians and practice teams to understand how Abtrace is used in the real world.
• Turn complex clinical and operational problems into clear, usable product experiences.
• Contribute to design systems and shared patterns as the design function grows.
