A leading engineering firm in Norway is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead project activities. In this role, you will ensure the execution of projects related to the processing plant's environmental impact, develop design documents, and collaborate with clients. Applicants should have a Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering with extensive Oil and Gas experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead all project activities within the Process Discipline.
  • Conduct tasks related to the processing plant's environmental impact within project studies.
  • Develop and assist other process engineers in creating key design documents, including H&MB, PFD, P&ID, DataSheets, line sizing, PSV, and equipment sizing.
  • Act as a representative in Technical Design Reviews, including P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, client, and vendor meetings.
  • Ensure study execution complies with both internal and external standards.
  • Manage studies to mitigate risks, leverage opportunities, and meet deadlines within budget constraints.
  • Define team structure and competency requirements.
  • Build a cohesive, high-performing team across project members.
  • Identify problems and discrepancies in work processes, suggest improvements, and seek assistance when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to achieve key project milestones.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients.
  • Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including clients and partners.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Master's/ Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering
