Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join the Product Engineering team in Oslo. You will lead high-impact initiatives end-to-end, designing and shipping frontend and backend systems and mentoring engineers in a production environment.

The role focuses on a platform for IoT device monitoring and updates, requiring deep technical insight and collaboration with product and design to shape the roadmap and improve developer experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and shipping web applications in production at staff or principal level.
• Deep expertise across the stack: React/TypeScript frontends, Python backends, database tooling (Postgres, Clickhouse) and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Experience influencing technical direction beyond your immediate team, mentorship, and RFC/cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end initiatives from discovery through production, owning problems, not tickets.
• Design and implement scalable frontend and backend systems to handle growing adoption.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar through architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product and design to shape roadmaps with deep technical insight.
