Job summary

Shield AI seeks a Presales Field Solutions Engineer to provide technical expertise in Europe, driving customer engagement and proposal quality for the V-BAT aircraft. You will serve as the SME across BD, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure solutions meet mission needs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical presales within defense/aerospace, strong writing and communication skills, and a deep understanding of AI-driven autonomy and UAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with U.S. Federal or International government requirements.
• Strong technical writing ability for RFIs and quad charts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical capture for European opportunities focusing on the V-BAT aircraft.
• Coordinate with BD, Engineering, and Product teams to align customer needs with roadmaps.
• Develop technical strategies and compelling proposals to maximize win probability.
• Provide SME-level technical guidance during customer engagements and capability briefings.
• Manage technical content for proposals, RFIs, white papers and briefs.
