Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Field Solutions Engineer, Hivemind, to support technical sales, customer engagements, demonstrations, and capture activities for Hivemind, Shield AI’s autonomy solution for unmanned systems.

You will translate customer needs into credible solution concepts, develop technical assets, and work with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to ensure our capabilities align with mission objectives. Travel for engagements is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in solutions engineering or related customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of autonomy and unmanned systems.
• Experience supporting demos, technical briefings, RFIs/RFPs.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technically feasible concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with BD, Product, Engineering, and Program teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for Hivemind autonomy solutions in markets.
• Support customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, RFIs, RFPs, and capture activities.
• Translate customer mission needs and constraints into credible Hivemind concepts.
• Partner with BD and Capture teams on proposals, white papers, demos, and narratives.
• Explain autonomy capabilities, roadmap considerations, and integration requirements to diverse audiences.
• Develop and maintain technical sales assets and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to reflect customer requirements.
• Help customers evaluate autonomy for mission planning and force modernization.
• Maintain product truth in materials and discussions reflecting current capabilities.
• Monitor autonomy/AI developments to inform conversations and feedback.
• Build trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders and internal partners.
