Job summary

University of Oslo invites applications for a PhD Research Fellow in Special Needs Education, linked to the CoDev project, aimed at strengthening inclusive education in Norwegian kindergartens and schools. The fellow will produce an article-based PhD thesis and conduct both theoretical and empirical work within COIN.

The 3-year fellowship may extend to a fourth year with 25% other career-promoting tasks, including teaching or supervision, depending on qualifications and institute needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or special needs education; thesis 30 ECTS.
• Fluent English and Norwegian communication skills.
• Experience with practice-oriented research in Norwegian kindergarten or schools.

Responsibilities

• Write an article-based PhD thesis.
• Conduct theoretical and empirical (qualitative) research.
• Engage with the COIN research group and project partners.
