Job summary

Western Norway University of Applied Sciences invites applications for a PhD research fellow position (3 years) in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action TUAI. The chosen candidate will join the Software Engineering Group and work on AI-enabled, open, and explainable AI within a heterogeneous computing platform.

The role requires a Master’s in CS and strong OO programming skills. The work includes collaboration with international partners, a 12-month secondment plan to Poland, Norway and Italy, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or closely related field is required, or near completion with transcript and draft thesis.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (C++, Java, Kotlin, Swift, ...).
• English proficiency in written and spoken form is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to the PhD project within the MSCA DN TUAI.
• Enrol in the PhD programme and collaborate with supervisors.
• Publish results in international conferences and journals and participate in international networking.
