Job summary

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a strong academic record and English presentation skills; admission to NTNU's PhD programme is required within three months of employment.

Qualifications

• Must meet admission to NTNU's Doctoral Programme in Computer Science.
• Master's degree in Computer Science with a major independent project (minimum 30 ECTS).
• Master students may apply but degree must be documented before start (by 30 Oct 2026).
• Strong academic background with average grade equal to B or better per NTNU scale; if not, documented exceptional suitability.

Responsibilities

• Complete the doctoral education until obtaining a doctorate.
• Carry out high-quality research within the stated framework.
• Author academic publications and dissemination material.
• Participate in the Software Engineering research group.
• Engage in international conferences or research stays.
• Support education activities in Software Engineering courses.
