Qualifications

  • You must meet admission requirements for the PhD programme as described by NTNU regulations.
  • You must hold a Master’s degree in process systems engineering, chemical engineering, energy engineering or equivalent.
  • The Master’s degree must be completed before start or by December 1, 2026.
  • A strong academic record on the Master’s degree (B grade or better per NTNU scale) is required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the doctoral education until the PhD is awarded.
  • Carry out high-quality research within the project scope.
  • Publish in academic journals and present at conferences.
  • Participate in international activities and research stays at foreign institutions.
