NTNU in Trondheim invites applications for up to two PhD candidates in psychology. The positions are part of the PhD programme in Social Sciences, three-year contract, affiliated with the Department of Psychology. Applicants must secure supervision and write a research proposal.

The appointment follows NTNU recruitment guidelines; salary is NOK 580 000 per year with a 2% pension contribution, and the employment period is three years. Application deadline: 2026-11-01.

Formación

• You must meet the requirements for admission to the faculty's Doctoral Programme, see Section 6-1 of the PhD regulations.
• Master's degree in [subject area] or equivalent with a major independent project (minimum 30 ECTS) equivalent to a master’s thesis
• Strong and relevant academic background with an average grade from your Master’s degree study, equal to B or better on NTNU’s scale; if no letter grades, provide an equally good foundation.
• Good oral and written presentation skills in English
